Stefan Romecki “Cars & Animals”

 

The Gallery Roi Doré presents the exhibition “Cars & Animals” by Stefan Romecki. It presents Stefan’s drawings – his innovative vision of the animal side of his mechanical monsters.

STEFAN ROMECKI, born in 1989 is a racing driver who has a promising career ahead: so far he took part in 104 races, 48 ​​of which finished on the podium. Beginning in carting in 1995, Stefan has been racing in Auto Sport since 2004. Starting with the single-seater, he learned the most precise driving techniques. His journey took him through the Prototype, the 4 Wheel Drive on Earth, Endurance, Classic Endurance, GT, English Sprint, Single seat, LMP2, making him a complete driver, who adapts to all situations. He continually climbs the ladder, pushing the challenges ever further. Followed by the Virage Academy since 2013, he became the first Polish driver to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans since Stanilas Czaykowski in 1932-1933. He is 2007 French Vice-Champion of Formula Renault 2.0. In 2014, he won the Silhouette Light championship in BRCC.

At the same time, Romecki draws cars from a very young age. He studied in a design school in Paris, specializing in cars, to refine his technique. In 2014, he released his first work “Animals & Cars” whose preface is signed by Yves Courage, a true legend in international motorsport. In this book, the pilot and designer Stefan Romecki offers his artistic vision of the question mixing techniques between handwork, computer-assisted work, and a rather realistic rendering. This book also allows you to make a donation to the A3SR Sports Association which supports Stefan’s project: to reach the summit of World Motor Sport.
