Galerie Roi Doré is pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition “K-dron, in search of Infinity”, presenting the works of Janusz Kapusta.
Exhibition organized as a part of the Galerie Roi Doré’s participation in the “Mois de la Photo” festival, under the collective name “Polish photography in Paris and in the world”. Presented at the Galerie Roi Doré from September 6th till September 20th.
“Temps d’écriture”: exhibition of Halinka Jakubowska (sculptures) & Hanna Zawa-Cywinska (paintings): June 21st – July 21st 2012.
Opening on Thursday, June 21st from 6 pm till 10 pm.
The winner of the 1st edition of the Contest was Janusz KAPUSTA, rewarded for his 4 works K-Nano.
The Contest was organized in honour of prof. Tadeusz Malinski, great Polish scientist and world pioneer of the nanomedicine.
Janusz Kapusta (born in Zalesie, Poland in 1951) – artist, painter, illustrator, scenographer and inventor of K-DRON, an 11-sided block with multiple artistic and practical applications. Since 1981, he lives in New York where he works as an illustrator for major American newspapers such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Boston Globe etc.
1o other artists were qualified for the final of the Contest.

The Galerie Roi Doré, located in the 3rd district of Paris, invites you to participate in the “NanoArt” Contest. Its final will take place on Thursday, May 31st, 2012, at the Gallery, which will be presented as part of the 4th edition of the “Journées Nomades” Festival.
The contest is inspired by the scientific research of Professor Tadeusz Malinski, a great Polish scientist, director of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Ohio University and world pioneer in the field of nanomedicine, twice nominated for the Nobel Prize in chemistry and medicine-physiology.
